Our council is based out of Saint Sebastian Church in Middletown, Connecticut. The Forest City Council was chartered in October of 1883. The council was charter with the signature of Father Michael J. McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus. Our council bears the nickname of Middletown which is the Forest City. When the Forest City Council was first established it served the catholic gentlemen of the city. Today the council still works closely with the catholic parishes of the city providing funds for various projects, members of the council are active participants in their parishes.
